October's Webinar: Media Authoring and Task Design (screencast added)
Materials Design with ANVILL
ANVILL was designed for multimedia authoring: Teachers can easily create spoken language tasks which leverage the power of the Internet, from weekly audio journals to visits to virtual museums to assessments based on publisher content online.
Language teachers at all levels of ANVILL experience are encouraged to join Project Manager Jeff Magoto for an interactive discussion of its media authoring and task design features. We'll begin with a 30-minute overview of some best practices with the tool and then open it up for your questions and examples. Need more information? Email us: ylchelp at uoregon.edu
Can't attend the webinar? The screencast below covers most of the content covered in our Oct. 23 broadcast. (It's 28 minutes long, comes in a Large Version and a Medium Version and require's Apple's Quicktime Player and a high speed connection; if you have trouble viewing this, try the YouTube version).
